Canara Bank Distributes Scholarships to Meritorious Girl Students in Kolhapur

On the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, Canara Bank, Regional Office, Kolhapur, organised the Canara Vidya Jyoti Scholarship Distribution Programme to encourage and support meritorious girl students and promote the importance of education.
The programme was graced by Dr. Jasmine, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur, as the Chief Guest. Shri R. Aramirtham, AGM and Regional Office Head, Canara Bank, Kolhapur, was also present on the occasion.
As part of the programme, scholarships were distributed to deserving and meritorious girl students. The initiative reflects Canara Bank’s continued commitment towards education, women empowerment and inclusive nation-building.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries encouraged the students to pursue higher education, develop confidence and contribute positively to society and the nation.
The programme also highlighted the importance of creating greater educational opportunities for girls and empowering them to become self-reliant and future leaders.
